Intero Technology Center 

Intero has committed to an ambitious and challenging Technology Development program. Within the Technology Center, we collaborate in a small, close, diverse and multi-disciplinary team to materialize these ambitions. The way we work can be described as hand-on, engaged and result driven. Engineers are involved in the project from start to finish: defining requirements, executing the design work up to integration and integration-testing. 

The fact that people are involved in many different phases of the innovation cycle, have hands-on activities to work on and having the end-user in close vicinity are really differentiators that are appreciated by the employees. 

The Intero Technology Center is responsible for:  

  • Development of new non-destructive inspection technologies; 
  • Design and engineering of high-tech inspection systems, including procedure qualification and training;
  • Development and maintenance of the software applications that run our inspection robots. 

To enable the growth of Intero Technology Center, we are looking for enthusiastic Development professionals (Electronics, Mechanics, Software, Physics). You will work in a multidisciplinary team where information, ideas and solutions are shared and integrated into technical systems. The Technology Center is located in the main office of Intero Integrity Services B.V. in Tricht (the Netherlands). 

Job description 

As a Project Manager you work together with your (multi-disciplinary) colleagues to design new inspection systems. Within the small team, you are responsible for delivery of the projects in a timely manner within quality and cost constraints and reporting projects progress and risks transparently. With all problems you encounter, you easily come up with multiple solutions to overcome them, including the accompanying pro’s and con’s. You have an innate habit to create oversight and insight by having your administration in order. 

You have a wide technical experience obtained in a multi-disciplinary environment: Electronics, Software and Mechanics. You have an aptitude to learn fast and to reach out to specialist colleagues if unknowns require clarification. 

 Tasks and responsabilities

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for project success and project management success. You will work together with the project team, consisting of technical specialists and domain experts, to define project stages and work packages. Towards the project board you report on the progress of these work packages in terms of schedule, scope, quality and risks.

Training and experience

  • Bachelor or Master degree in a technical direction; 
  • Experience in Project Management in a R&D environment; 
  • An IPMA C certification or equivalent (PM BOK, Prince2, …); 
  • Proficient in English in a professional environment.
