Senior Common Criteria Analyst

The role

The Senior Common Criteria (CC) Evaluator is a specialist with more than three years of experience evaluating various products for various customers. This expertise gives you insight into the entire Common Criteria landscape and the underlying security requirements in evaluation methodologies.

In this position, you will work on customer projects, often in the role of chief evaluator, overseeing the technical and methodological integrity of the projects. You use your knowledge and experience to guide junior colleagues in their development and communication with customers.

As a Senior CC Evaluator, you will represent the company in the field of CC when dealing with customers and at conferences and events. You help shape internal R&D initiatives and actively support project managers during the project acquisition process.

The work

This laboratory specializes in evaluating product safety, often involving a combination of hardware and software. Their ratings comply with internationally recognized standards. They work with financial institutions such as MasterCard and VISA, government certification bodies, and developers, suppliers, and manufacturers of security products. In addition, they help their customers navigate through security standards and the evaluation process.

The lab

The lab is a specialized ICT security laboratory in the Netherlands, where approximately 150 people work. They carry out a variety of security evaluations for their customers, and their team consists of professionals with different technical backgrounds. Their work environment is open, ambitious, multicultural and international, with more than 85% of our customers outside the Netherlands.

Your skills

We are looking for candidates with a bachelor's or master's degree in a technical discipline (such as electronics, physics, IT or mathematics) and proven experience in CC projects, preferably as evaluators, consultants or developers. Proven experience in CC projects in the field of telecommunications, integrated circuits or smart cards is essential. You must be well versed in international arrangements and have contributed to various CC evaluation certificates. In addition, a hacker mentality and strong general English language skills are necessary.
